I grew up coding games and learned a lot from it. Too many coders never get the chance to experiment with games, so I made an open-source engine called CODE / COLLISION - all you code is your strategy, and then compete against your friends/coworkers in an offline tournament.

'Oh my Git'[1] gets close, but didn't allow you to run it on arbitrary repositories last time I looked (last year).
