vysor.io VS Tabby

You can install Vysor app on the Firestick from the Appstore and download the Vysor app from https://vysor.io to install on a computer to remotely connect to a Firestick from a computer. Check YouTube for a video on how to use it.

For those following this thread: I've just discovered a tool called Vysor which allows you to control your fire tv from another device (like your laptop). It's not a native remote.. it feels like VNC / remote access, though i'm not sure how it's actually implemented. Either way, it works great. I use a fair few of already mentioned apps from above so won't repeat. WinAreo - for applying a few tweaks here and there Screen Ruler - especially useful when working with graphics nirsoft.net - too many to mention Shutter - lots of conditional shutdown options TheMatrixTrilogy - My preferred screensaver of choice reg2ps.azurewebsites.net - honourable mention of service for converting .reg files to PowerShell.

I would be using Tabby Terminal.

tabby.sh - design, features

iTerm2 is a great terminal for macOS. I use it extensively every day. Despite that, I would gladly try out other terminals because it's fun and because I'm always open to finding something superior to even the great tools I use.

That said, there is exactly 1 feature that seems to only exist in iTerm2, and until another terminal emulator appears that has it, I'm staying put: tmux control mode.

I've found Tabby does a good job and is Cross-Platform to you can use on Windows too. It can run any installed shell, serial connections and ssh. You can create profiles. It needs some work to be fully functional in Wayland i.e. Autohide feature doesn't work. But that's a graphical issue. Though, if you're just after creating and organising SSH profiles not terminal emulation, Remmina already has you covered. SSH, RDP and VNC.
