What’s the hype with Vite?
should be leveraging the IDE + CI for that tbh - or a pre-commit hook to run typecheck - or https://github.com/fi3ework/vite-plugin-checker (not used)

Question about Volar takeover mode
if you want a fast quickstart there are plenty of starter templates. Mine (https://github.com/notKamui/Nightrunner) is a Nuxt template which 'auto' installs (you have to allow them) VSCode extensions, as well as one which suggests you to disallow other extensions (including the regular TS server)

Nightrunner, a opinionated Nuxt 3 starter template
Here's Nightrunner's repository. It's a very simple Nuxt 3 starter template, with built in configurations for several plugins, such as i18n, dark theme, Pinia, UnoCSS, Vueuse, Vue Macros, and ESLint. In essence, it's not too far from antfu's Vitesse, but there are a few more opinionated differences.
