Looking for guidance on simplifying my note-taking setup into the terminal
Started using vim-zettel a while ago and it works pretty well, especially seeing as I need to link my notes. It uses vimwiki and fzf, and for git autosync you can use vimwiki-sync. :)

Documentation... Is it a mess for all of us?
At work we use a self-hosted MediaWiki. Personally I use Vimwiki with vim-zettel and a few other plugins to manage a personal knowledge-base. An intro to Zettelkasten if you're curious about this method for taking notes. Pro-tip: both Vimwiki and Markdown (I write my notes in *.md) can be converted to MediaWiki syntax using Pandoc.

How to map a key sequence after the execusion of a plugin?
I think it's easier to make your own command. ZettelSeach uses zettel#fzf#wiki_search as the sink for fzf selection result. In that function, the variable title seems to the description that you want to capitalize. So this will do the trick

You can use vim-plug (or whatever) to get neuron.nvim, but neuron.nvim depends on neuron, which AFAICT, you have to pull from the GH Releases page or use nix to install: https://neuron.zettel.page/install.

You can set up a git repo and use emanote or it’s predecessor nueron to set up the GitHub pages for free. But both projects have some issues rendering the Obsidian flavor markdown files (translutions, block reference etc.) compared with Obsidian Publish.
