Moving list items up and down?
I like this plugin: https://github.com/matze/vim-move. It can move lines in visual mode and normal mode as well as properly indenting.

Small drama: The nicest vim user takes it personal offence when another user shares constructive criticism about vim plugins' language.
Vim is a decades old text editor that has become a tool for power users thanks to Vimscript, a language dedicated to writing Vim plugins (here's a small example, not mine). In the last few years, a project called Neovim has started re-writing Vim and adding support for writing plugins with Lua, which was already popular in game modding like Gmod or TBOI. This has led many users to reconsider the basis of both Vimscript and Lua and others to feel there's an (inexistent) grudge between the two developer teams.

Where do you put your plugin specific configurations when constructing a lua config for neovim?
This functionality in packer is buggy, it doesn't always match the load order if the plugin wasn't lazy loaded. See https://github.com/RRethy/vim-hexokinase/issues/86.

Console text editors
literally the only reason i prefer vim over micro is because of vim-hexokinase and how easy it is to configure colors.
