If you don't wanna deal with matchparen, you could also consider using vim-matchup, which has better performance than matchparen and can match way more tokens and keywords.

How to disable MatchParen and Treesitter highlighting on long lines?
There is https://github.com/theHamsta/nvim-treesitter-pairs based on treesitter queries, in theory should be faster on big lines, but it has its own limitations.
