local-highlight.nvim: blazing fast highlight of word under the cursor
I could not reproduce this with either of plugins I tried: mini.cursorword and itchyny/vim-cursorword. I specifically tried with italics and it just added underscore.
-
neovim plugins that have improved your workflow
There are several plugins that do that: - mini.cursorword - RRethy/vim-illuminate - itchyny/vim-cursorword
-
vim-illuminate v2: Full Lua rewrite with LSP/Tree-sitter/Regex support
Vim plugin for automatically highlighting other uses of the word under the cursor using either LSP, Tree-sitter, or regex matching. Think nvim-cursorword, vim-cursorword, or nvim-cursorword, but better.

neovim plugins that have improved your workflow
i was using markdown before but i would edit md in neovim and then view it in other previewer which was a pain now i write my notes in neorg and it has made my life much more easier, especially linking is the best and in top of that i can write code inside neorg which will look same as written in a separate file because of the treesitter. and the also it has a feature called tangling which will write your code inside notes to another file you specified. Read this specification you will get an idea of what i mean neirg is the best. https://github.com/nvim-neorg/norg-specs/blob/main/1.0-specification.norg

Neorg's File Format is nearing 1.0!
We ask all of you - yes, Joe, you as well - to read through the spec and tell us about any issues or ambiguities you may find along the way. Once we feel there's nothing left to add nor take away we'll publish the official 1.0 release! Link to the specification can be found right here.
