What's the fastest way of showing the number of matches when a vim search (via /) is done? Here are the methods I'm aware of: - Plugin (vim-anzu) (with vim-airline) - set shortmess-=S which unfortunately has a limit on max number of matches (99)

As google/vim-searchindex told in Installation Note. Just set shortmess-=S in your init.vim with Neovim 0.4.0 or newer, could provide a minimal replacement of henrik/vim-indexed-search
