Can someone explain how this was a triple rating decrease? I'm very happy a new change is coming to valorant competitive but I feel we would all benefit from knowing more info as to why we receive large downranks. Especially as the Sage (who I was queued with) received 2 down.
I think you're looking for this one, https://github.com/dylantheriot/valorant-match-history

I gained 77 RP from a massive loss?
I personally use this one, it isn't an overlay but is a way to show your rank as an ELO number

How can you check your exact elo?
Follow the instructions on this GitHub: https://github.com/dylantheriot/valorant-match-history

I looked up the ELOs of various pro players and made a spreadsheet of them
The amount varies. I've seen some matches be only 5-6 up, and some be like 40 up. If you want to see your own ELO per match I'd suggest checking out the original project I used https://github.com/dylantheriot/valorant-match-history

There has been a “ranked point checker” to see how far you are from a rank that tracks points. Will riot take this down?
Alternatively, you can use https://valorantelo.gg if you trust the site. You can also clone its source code from https://github.com/dylantheriot/valorant-match-history and follow the instructions to run the web app on localhost on your computer (this is what I would recommend and have tested myself).

Turns out you actually lose a little bit of elo from a tie, even if it displays equal. I tied and still lost 3RP
You can check the repo of RumbleMike and the funcitons in GetRankedPoints/Program.cs as well as GetRankedPoints/Authentication.cs, that's where most of the magic happens. There you can also get the endpoints for the API calls.
