- Need a new server host.

Possible to host Server on Mac while playing on Xbox?
You should be technically able to run the server in a docker container (e.g. lloesche/valheim-server, Github page). No idea if the resources of the VM are enough for the server, but as it does not run a lot of game logic it might work.

Move Docker Image files from Docker Image to Unraid share
I setup this docker image in unraid => https://github.com/lloesche/valheim-server-docker

When you start a world with friends but they stop playing midway
Install docker and use lloesche/valheim-server

Docker Won't Load Existing World for a Dedicated Server Setup
I've been following the guide listed here: https://hub.docker.com/r/lloesche/valheim-server from /u/lloesche.
-
Synology NAS - Valheim Dedicated Server
Looking at the environment variables for that docker package (https://hub.docker.com/r/lloesche/valheim-server) "SERVER_PUBLIC" should be "true" not "1."

Modding a Server and Client Side Mods
I Use this Docker Image to host the server: https://hub.docker.com/r/lloesche/valheim-server It has build in Mod Support (That is how i installed the Mod to test it). Do i need to Install the Mod on the server, even if it is client Side? Or is there a way for clients to auto-Download server mods?
-
World reset after update?
Anyone experienced that? I checked the GitHub of server and I see no such issues opened there. No mods installed.

Learning Go by examples: part 12 - Deploy Go apps in Go with CDK for Terraform (CDKTF)
At first I tested it to deploy an OVHcloud Managed Kubernetes Service (MKS) with a Node Pool. And step by step, it worked. I even created a Pull Request (PR) in the terraform-cdk repository to add it as an example βΊοΈ.

AWS CDK For Noobs: Deploying NextJS Apps
I'll be trying more sample app deployments with CDK and maybe even explore CDK for Terraform.

Show HN: Winglang β a new Cloud-Oriented programming language
You can use CDK with other providers using https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform-cdk
In my experience, CDK is far better than Pulumi, especially if you're mostly going to be using AWS.

Why is Kubernetes adoption so hard?
I, personally, prefer Crossplane Composite Functions on top of CDK8S, but had dropped CDKTF due to bloat. You can actually manage Kubernetes updates/upgrade lifecycle with Crossplane, as well.

Backend engineers that don't like JavaScript
I was going to recommend Pulumi, but looks like CDK for Terraform is still being kept up to date.
-
Should i migrate from Kustomize to Helm?
Avoid Pulumi, get directly to source and use https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform-cdk
- AWS IAM Roles, a tale of unnecessary complexity
What are some alternatives?
LinuxGSM - The command-line tool for quick, simple deployment and management of Linux dedicated game servers.
Pulumi - Pulumi - Infrastructure as Code in any programming language. Build infrastructure intuitively on any cloud using familiar languages π
valheim-docker - Valheim Docker powered by Odin. The Valheim dedicated gameserver manager which is designed with resiliency in mind by providing automatic updates, world backup support, and a user friendly cli interface.
terragrunt - Terragrunt is a thin wrapper for Terraform that provides extra tools for working with multiple Terraform modules.
docker-steamcmd-server - Simple Dockerfile that installs steamcmd and a selected game server
crossplane - The Cloud Native Control Plane
docker_SynologyNAS - How to install Docker on non-intel Synology NAS
copilot-cli - The AWS Copilot CLI is a tool for developers to build, release and operate production ready containerized applications on AWS App Runner or Amazon ECS on AWS Fargate.
Valheim-Server-Web-GUI - This is a web GUI that can live on top of a Valheim server, giving you a web interface for controlling some of the basic functions of managing a server. This is database-less, no SQL required. Can publicly show mods, lets you edit your CFG files via a web interface, can show your world seed ID (publicly or not), can start/stop/restart valheimserver.service and can download your .db and .fwl files.
cdk8s - Define Kubernetes native apps and abstractions using object-oriented programming
node-gamedig - Query game servers and not only! Node.JS/Deno or Bash (via the CLI).
aws-cdk-local - Thin wrapper script for using the AWS CDK CLI with LocalStack
