Ueberzug previews stopped working
I normally use ueberzug to preview images and pdf in ranger, since w3m gives lots of artifacts. It always worked fine until a few days ago, when the previews suddenly stopped showing up. I did some upgrades before this happed I think, so I tried to downgrade both ranger and ueberzug but things didn't change. I tried other previews methods like kitty or w3m and they work (still with artifacts though). I tried other programs that use ueberzug like ucollage and they also aren't able to show previews. Then I installed a different OS in a VM (Manjaro) and tried ranger there: also in this case previews with ueberzug didn't show up. Then I tried ranger in a different machine and in this case ranger was able to show previews. I'm not an expert so I have no idea about what could cause this weird behaviour...

Could someone explain me what is Xresources file for?
I'm in Linux since summer and I just discovered the Xresource file by customizing the SXIV image viewer and I don't really know what this is used for. Is it a .config file? Wich programs can I customize in this file? Thanks in advance!
