Doubt in Debugging
The problem is that APIs don’t work well with version 2. Even twitter itself hasn’t ported media upload to version 2 so they expect you to use version one for images and version two for everything else. The documentation is plentiful and unhelpful for anything beyond the most basic use cases. Pretty frustrating. If you have experience with server side social networks and know what to do with this issue, then drop me a line.

can also just download every image post on this sub (like I did) through a tool like RipMe, though I'm not sure if there is a filter for NSFW, haven't used it in a while.

PSA: Imgur is going to start deleting old images, you should start archiving old posts now
This sub is too large for my method but I used ripme and then used an iOS shortcut that takes links of posts and saves photos of webpages and stored them in a folder.

gallery-dl - Tool to download entire image galleries (and lists of galleries) from dozens of different sites. (Very relevant now due to Imgur purging its galleries, best download your favs before it's too late)
RipMe - For those who already have this, maybe it still works for imgur but it hasn't received frequent updates for a while now so a number of sites don't work.

About Bulk Image Downloader
You can use wfdownloader which is free and extremely powerful as it can handle not just images but videos too. Another good one is ripme but it hasn't been updated in a while so some sites may have stopped working.
