Which layer does a socket belong to?
This codebase uses websockets with socket io but not for chat. The repository uses both restful apis and websockets to update news feed articles. The important thing to now is that the data is still consumed in the rest of the app with a repository. https://github.com/tunjid/me

AvaloniaUI (C#) vs Compose Multiplatform?
I have a project where I experiment with new ideas and concepts. This: https://github.com/Thinkrchive/Thinkrchive-Multiplatform. A little bit over engineered but that's the whole point of this project (to experiment with new concepts).
