Replaced the stylus holder with a tac switch for screen switch mod 🎉
The mod requires a firmware update that actually enables hidden tv out functionality, screen switching is a small part of that mod discovered by Lost Nintendo History - their findings here: https://github.com/LostNintendoHistory/Lost-NDS-TV

Original R4 with v8a_flashme_noauto
Hi, I am following this guide (https://github.com/LostNintendoHistory/Lost-NDS-TV/tree/main/fwpatch) and I found v8a_flashme_noauto online (verified the file hash). I would like to know if it'll work with an original R4 with the default kernel on it or do I need to install some kind of custom kernel on it? Just want to make sure I don't brick my DS Lite :)

Advice on repair and possible upgrades for DS lite?
also about 6 months ago ish people have discovered a hidden function in to ds lite soc that let's the ds lite output via composite too :D you need to patch your console's firmware and for the hardware i think you can get kits that replace the top screen ribbon and let you connect to the tv. for more infos check this https://github.com/LostNintendoHistory/Lost-NDS-TV. that might be desirable
