  • Where are Toolbx images stored on Silverblue?

I'm using these toolbx-images to have an Arch and Debian containers, but I can't find their files from the host OS (Silverblue).

Fedora only offers Fedora and RHEL images, so if you want to run say Ubuntu in a toolbox, you can use the images from quay.io as discussed here. If you're as security paranoid as I am, you can also install a local Docker Registry (running in podman) and build your own images from the Containerfiles in that repo, but this comment is already long, so not today.
  • Silverblue - am I doing this right?
    4 projects | /r/Fedora | 23 Feb 2023
Then if someone wanted to actually do this in Fedora and make a more toolbox focused image we'd have some useful feedback to give them. Also there are community maintained base images if you want to explore: https://github.com/toolbx-images/images
  • Fedora Silverblue as a daily driver

But toolbx didn't merge pr's to support other distros like Arch and relied on it's users to write a Containerfile for other distros (not difficult, but unnecessary). Now we have the community-maintained https://github.com/toolbx-images/images which imo should have been part of toolbx in the first place.
