Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Why does adding --coverage change compile behavior?

The romance of Haskell and Category Theory.
A humble example is tomland, a TOML parser. As far as I know, it is based on the ideas from this paper and previous work by /u/syrak. Again, maybe for you it is a triviality, but I find it impressive.
