I've done this in the form of an open source project called GptGames. The source is available at GitHub.

Everything I am talking about is open source and can be easily replicated. See the GitHub Repository and especially the directory /playground/api_parameters. The repository also contains all API responses.

As all of my GPT projects, this is also open source and can be reviewed at GitHub.

It's open source and was created mainly by GPT-4. You can see parts of the developement process in the project_prompts.md. The model version used in the API is GPT-3.5-turbo, as GPT-4 is not available for me yet.

Those messages have been exchanged in a pretty simple chat client I built (with the help of ChatGPT of course) to increase the limit of tokens in order to generate even longer responses or more complex code. (I am currently trying to create as many games and tools with the help of ChatGPT as I possibly can - see https://github.com/TobiasMue91/gptgames ; Very happy about any feedback! <3)

I tried to be transparent with which prompt I've used whenever they resulted in awesome responses. These prompts can be found in either the commit messages or in the PROMPTS.md.

So I decided to make a version of it myself with some differences. In this version, words will be generated randomly with each play so the game can go on for as many plays as you like throughout the day. The list of available words will also be increased to include nearly 13,000 words as an oppose to the nearly 3,000 Wordle uses, however, for the purposes of this entry and to save space, I'll keep the word count down to just 5 but the full version can be downloaded from Github.
