tlp-portage VS steam-overlay

Installing and configuring tlp (overlay: https://github.com/dywisor/tlp-portage/tree/maint/app-laptop/tlp) would let you do this.

tlp location: /var/db/repos/tlp sync-type: git sync-uri: https://github.com/dywisor/tlp-portage.git masters: gentoo

TLP's not in the official repositories, but there's an overlay (with instructions) here

I'm not sure if this can be useful or not, I don't use gentoo and haven't bothered with tlp in a while, but may be worth a look: https://github.com/dywisor/tlp-portage

eselect repository add tlp git https://github.com/dywisor/tlp-portage.git

You could try using tlp, available from overlay

That's weird, eselect repository list shows it and the URL exists and it's working.

Did you use something other than games-util/esteam, games-util/steam-meta,games-util/steam-client-meta,games-util/steam-launcherfrom [steam-overlay`](https://github.com/anyc/steam-overlay)?

Both work perfectly here - although steam-launcher and steam-client-meta come from steam-overlay which can be grabbed with eselect repository enable steam-overlay or so.
