Gentoo on laptop - how to make it charge only to 60% when plugged in?
Installing and configuring tlp (overlay: https://github.com/dywisor/tlp-portage/tree/maint/app-laptop/tlp) would let you do this.

Questions about moving from Arch to Gentoo
