For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.
How to select the appropriate client and server tunnels to access anonymous broker service

If you're just doing an HTTP client and server, Wireshark will work but a reverse-proxy is probably an easier to use and more focused tool. I have used https://github.com/tinyproxy/tinyproxy tinyproxy in the past successfully.

WireGuard & Proxy Server: How can I use my iPhone as proxy server?

With a Raspberry Pi, I'm using Squid (http://www.squid-cache.org/) to get proxy connections.
Apache Traffic Server

I believe Apache Traffic Server doesn't really compete with the likes of nginx or traefik. Apache Traffic Server is a HTTP caching server/web accelerator, thus it's specialized for caching HTTP requests and consequently it's simpler to deploy and configure. With that in mind, it competes with the likes of Squid or Varnish.

The 5-Hour CDN

Years ago I was involved with some high performance delivery of a bunch of newspapers, and we used Squid quite well. One nice thing you could do as well (but it's probably a bit hacky and old school these days) was to "open up" only parts of the web page to be dynamic while the rest was cached (or have different cache rules for different page components). With some legacy apps (like some CMS') this can hugely improve performance while not sacrificing the dynamic and "fresh looking" parts of the website.

Why does Sage Start communicate to port 443?
1 project | reddit.com/r/Sage | 6 Jul 2021
A web cache e.g. squid catches such packages and Sage is not able to connect to the server. It took me quite a while to find this issue. Is there any way to change the port? So far, I didn't manage to add an exception for squid to exclude this package and therefore, I had to deactivate squid.

Squid is a caching proxy for the Web that supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and more to reduce bandwidth and improve response times. It can route content requests to servers in a wide variety of ways to build cache server hierarchies that optimize network throughput. Offers extensive access controls and runs on most available operating systems. YourBrainOnJazz explains, "Squid is not only a proxy, it also is an in-memory cache and has load balancing capabilities... Squid is used by companies, CDN's and ISP's around the world, legally, to help optimize delivery of content to consumers more efficiently and quickly."
