    Yes I am experiencing something similar in urxvt but output is not vertically centered, it just starts at some fixed height, I think 23, above the bottom. I read through urxvt's man page and can't find any setting that would obviously move the initial line position. I also don't see anything in the recent change log that might have caused this to intentionally happen.
