Any good (preferably FOSS) keyboards to recommend?
Just a few weeks ago Dessalines created his project Thumb-Key inspired by MessagEase, as he states himself. It doesn't have all the languages and features yet, but accepts contributions and is updated regularly.

There's also https://github.com/nightkr/flickboard but it has some issues, thumb-key is more stable at the moment
