Show HN: I made a tool to ditch paying $20/month LLM subscriptions
I what you're working on as a start! Reminds me a little of ofhttps://github.com/socketteer/loom. Composing multiple models in a guided / visually programable node flow of inputs and responses is a logical next step on from linear chatbots. The UI is feels a little raw at the moment -- zooming and scrolling / panning the canvas is necessary to keep track, which shouldn't change the visibility or zoom the lefthand pane as it currently does.
Would be nice to see a statement regarding user data security and privacy and how that's technically implemented.

Microsoft makes new open LLM that outperforms ChatGPT on BBH benchmark and performs at par with text-davinci-003 in AGIEval reasoning
I am deeply interested in the performance of base models without the fine-tuning necessary for one-shot prompting, and multi-shot benchmarks are the only way for me to assess that. If I had it my way, I would do away with zero-shot benchmarks entirely because of all the academic noise they create when all I want to know is whether a given LLM is appropriate for my use case. Unfortunately for me, people are more interested in an accessible/approachable omniscient chatbot (e.g., ChatGPT) than they are in an advanced/nuanced multiverse simulator (e.g., Loom) so I'm stuck with the mental overhead of filtering out one-shot benchmarks, but obviously I'm just being grumpy.

Spent 5 years building up my craft and AI will make me jobless
See Methods of prompt programming for an intro, but the whole site is excellent, as is the software on GitHub for creative writing.

Ask HN: What's the best tool for mind mapping with AI/ChatGPT?
It's changing so fast and I personally don't use them, but one I saw was loom https://github.com/socketteer/loom it's a free version and I think the author currently uses a non-public continuation of the project but I'm not sure. It's the one they used in the research behind the simulators essay https://generative.ink/posts/simulators/

the tool for writing novels powered by gpt-3 is great
if you use the gpt-3 playground to write novels, it is difficult, because it has so many limitations, long-term memory, limited tokens in the window, and so on. but the loom can overcome these difficulties, here it is https://github.com/socketteer/loom, but I have zero knowledge on coding, anyone could help me install the coding?
