I’m trying to install SteamOS on my spare Mac Mini 2014 for the funny. Is there a way to fix this error?
I don't recommend installing SteamOS because it may not have the drivers, I'd recommend HoloISO if you want something more akin to SteamOS, or just use the new Big Picture mode.
- Hey guys, mind testing my Free Ray Tracing Tech demo? I don't have a Deck but would love to hear your thoughts. Link in comments.

HoloISO: Boop (stable)
Thanks for your feedback! I can consider this version stable, because it follows "rolling" update mechanism. That means, you can just download this ISO and not care about having fresh version at all. Because you'll get latest version installed regardless. This is achieved thanks to hosting my own pacman repository called "holoiso", https://dl.thevakhovske.cf/6:/holoiso/os/x86_64/ which carries package called "holoiso-main", https://github.com/theVakhovskeIsTaken/holoiso_install_main, which contains HoloISO updater, session switcher and required base packages to install. This allows me to pack more stuff, and just update it in Steam Deck UI or invoking steamos-update in terminal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqC9MLzsQ2s
