React, Express: Can someone please explain the difference (if any) between API endpoints and URL routes?
Hey thanks for that! That's a great explanation, and it's making a lot more sense now. The boilerplate I'm using however has an architecture that is confusing me - when you make a client side route, it pings the server instead of just doing a page redirect. Any general tips on how to construct routes in this type of set up? If you have time, here's a breif outline of how it's structured: https://github.com/textbook/starter-kit/wiki/Architecture
