The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Obsidian: Recognise existing Page
slowly training Text Snippets for faster typing and have found almost what I am looking for :D, e.g. my partner's name, for easier referencing (name : [[page name]] for example) -- which works pretty well

Is this the right use of templates?
For some simpler shorter snippets you want to add you could look to using the text snippet plugin but it would just be if you prefer how it works, nothing wrong with what you are already doing.
- Is there a plugin to create a shortcode for strings of text? All the plugins I saw seem to be for emojis only?

Automatically close sub/superscripts?

Obsidian: Recognise existing Page
Homepage for my central nervous system in obsidian with links to the information. This allows for a lovely interaction with Influx - instead of a daily new note.

Any way to have the daily note default to a new tab?
I think there may be a way to do what I was looking for using this plugin, but it was a bit more complicated than I was able to initially figure out. I was able to use the Homepage plugin another commenter suggested though. This seems pretty powerful though, so I will have to dig in further later. Thanks again.
