Why CrabNebula Cloud? Comparing the Tauri GitHub Action
The Tauri GitHub Action is a fantastic tool that allows you to build and distribute your Tauri app via GitHub Releases. It’s a great way to get your app out there, and it’s a great way to get started. However, it has a few limitations that we’ve worked to address with CrabNebula Cloud. Specifically,

Package All the Things
Anyone can cargo build --release, but there wasn’t (and still isn’t) a standard method for creating, shipping, and verifying updates for GUI apps. So the Tauri Working Group (of which many employees of CrabNebula are members) built one. They even created an open source GitHub action to make it easy to manufacture and ship bundles and their updates.

Setting Up CI CD for Tauri in a Monorepo
Building off of Tauri's post here I wanted a concrete example of a CI CD pipeline in action within a monorepo. So I used Tauri's the github actions Tauri provided and made some adjustments for pointing to the correct project folder.

I'm trying to build a progress bar for an Iced GUI app and having a lot of trouble with it.
I am building an app using Iced that takes hashes of the files in a directory and assigns them to a profile. The problem is that I can't get the progress bar to update in real time. I've been checking out examples like this https://github.com/iced-rs/iced/tree/master/examples/download_progress. But I just can't get the progress bar to move. Is anyone available to take a look at my code and maybe show me a fix (as long as you're okay with MIT licensing your changes)?

Show HN: Halloy – A GUI Application in Rust for IRC
Holy shit this GUI framework looks good. I am a Qt fanboi, but this looks great. Normally, I skip all the "X for Rust" posts as a bunch of fanaticism. Could it really be different this time???
The feature list is really impressive: https://github.com/iced-rs/iced
Plus, here is the road map with many things already done: https://github.com/iced-rs/iced/blob/master/ROADMAP.md
Wow, wow, wow: Keep up the great work.
