What are some must have plugins for beginners with Obsidian
I really like make.md for its powerful and simplified design. Advanced Tables and Excel to markdown table are great if you are working with tables a lot and also "smaller" plugins like paste url into selection and tag wragler really can make your life easier.

Only show Subtags in-line
I've just recently started using Obsidian and im already loving it. I've started using TagWrangler to organise my tags, but one thing that I haven't been able to figure out is how to only show the lowest-level-subtag itself in-line. Eg my tag is #grandparent/parent/child/grandchild: is there an option to only display #grandchild (perhaps even with the option to display #child/grandchild) in-line? I have the list of my nested tags as a sidebar, and with 3 or even more levels of tags the in-line tags are very long and distracting.

Is it possible to rename tags?
Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no native support for that in Obsidian. However, there is a community plugin called Tag Wrangler which allows for renaming of tags. Additionally, it provides a nice tag pane.
- Is there anyway to create a list of words automatically on a note for all the words of the vault that show up right after a particular tag (#)? Thanks

Source Your Own Daily-Quotes in Obsidian
In creating this, I hat help from users torantine, SkepticMystic and koala from the Obsidian Discord Server. Also, the function above is heavily based on the findTargets() function from the tag-wrangler plugin.

Recently migrated from Notion to Obsidian
Before they breathed new life into that project I used the following to better manage tables: - https://github.com/tgrosinger/advanced-tables-obsidian - https://github.com/ganesshkumar/obsidian-excel-to-markdown-table

Show HN: Sheet Markup – add spreadsheets to a Markdown document
I use advanced tables[0] and Excel to markdown tables[1] plugins - they make working with tables in Obsidian a bit easier.
That said, I think tables are markdown's Achilles heel - anything involving multi-line content starts to make things complicated.
