Why F-droid have to download complete list of app metadata everytime to show just frontpage?
~5MB isn't so resource hungry. Also, try to add the repo fdroidgoes.live/repo to the client as described at https://gitlab.com/fdroid/admin/-/issues/229. It's delivered via CDN so it's faster and will be even faster when more people use it. Soon it will be cloudflare.f-droid.org.

Should I install the F-Droid apk without verifying the GPG signature?
I reset my phone and I didn't install the F-Droid apk because the GPG key is (still) expired.
