The aim of this article is to show you the basic steps of getting started on Scratch and building a game using it. You’ll understand the fundamental concepts of the platform and will learn how to use it. You’ll be building a game similar to the Chrome Dino game but with minimal features.

How about the Chrome Dino game? It works with the OK button on your TV remote. Bonus points if you can jump the cacti with players in the way. A great way to entertain yourself watching games involving the Ducks if you're a fan of them. 🤣

It looks like there's at least some version of it at https://chromedino.com/ (from the URL bar) -- it's tiny and has ads, but also a leaderboard and is at least not blocked by Google. (Your work could block that, but it'd actually be your work!)

Neocities has taken steps to try to improve small personal web site discoverability, which ends up being like a platform for people making web sites with a hybrid social component https://neocities.org

I like the idea of calling this the small web, I usually go with something like "personal web site" or "home pages" but it's never quite stuck for me.
