This is useful for Tool-Assisted Speedruns (TAS), which can press buttons faster than any human can. It's possible that the same technique could cause Animal Crossing to glitch out.

Well for a save editor that you can use in game you can always try using the sys-botbase ram edit function found in NHSE or you can use ACNHPoker both of these allow you to edit the save in game though they do require an external device to run the editor on.

The most efficient way I use is NHSE it's much faster than digging up the flowers manually by hand, though you need to be careful because it will also remove furniture and trees if you're not careful. I only found one example of this exact error, and the solution posted by the NHSE dev suggests that it was caused by not running the program properly. Specifically, they suggest that the user must have been running the EXE file without having the rest of the program files in the same folder.
