Check out swrv or vue-query, they do this for you. One or two people from the vuex core team work on swrv.

For React, SWR is a library that provides these features, and it's also been ported to Vue as SWRV. React Query is another library that enables React (and React Native) apps to take advantage of all the features we've mentioned.

Typically, there are various ways to choose an HTTP client, and for this example, I've chosen axios.

axios: To fetch data from the Strapi CMS API and also to fetch responses from our Express server.

Note, you can use any library for HTTP requests like axios. This example uses the http and node-fetch libraries available on npm.
