How do I get current market price of a stock using the company name only, programmatically? Is there any API or anything?
You can use the NSE API. Although it is not available easily publicly, I have worked out a workaround using the same RESTAPI used by nsepy library for python but in golang (personal use case). You can find my code on eodData repo which fetches all NSE stock data one by one. I have also developed a library to fetch just the list of symbols and their metadata like face value etc on this repo
What are some alternatives?
