I built my own tool to access all my servers - Let me know what you think!
I always wanted to have an easy connection overview and file access to all of my homelab servers, including things like docker containers and WSL instances that run on them. I have also always been a fan of GUI remote file managers like WinSCP, Termius, Muon (I just prefer them to the CLI workflows) but sadly they only work if you can connect via SSH or FTP based protocols. While it's trivial to connect to a top level server through SSH, connecting via proxys and to nested machines such as bare docker containers, has always been a pain.

It seems that Muon (FOSS, previously known as Snowflake) fits your needs. Other options are paid only (subscription), they do not have a free version like MobaXterm: ShellNNG (web client) or sFTP client:

How do i do sftp in rpgle?
Edit: My solution: i wrote some java code which uses the sshj-library and called it from my rpgle code. I tried it first with the jsch-library but somehow it wasnt able to read my private key correctly under os400, no problems with windows.

Finally, the official JCraft JSch library is no longer maintained and consequently does not support modern secure algorithms and ciphers. Although an actively developed fork has become available recently, we decided to use the native Git approach.

OP needs to use this project to 'patch' JSch, but frankly I would not want to rely on unmaintained projects like JGit.
