hey mate, i am the one that made that subscene addon, I didn't have much time to fix it. but a generous person made some pull requests and I am working on deploying the new version atm. if you want to help with the development of that addon it's available on this GitHub repo. and if you have a different approach and wanna make your own addon you can contact me if you need any help.
