If you're like me you probably spent hours as a kid watching scrolling random text on an x86 PC that you coded up. This was before the Matrix, so when you saw that rain in the Matrix, you were like, "OH MY GOD they've been watching me", in full-Neo style.
I finally found the right font to rediscover and replay this experience from my youth, on the web, and share it with you all.
I made a write up about my journey here: https://github.com/crisdosyago/random
And a special inside track I'll give you all the Easter Eggs:
swipe up/down - pause flow
swipe opposite on pause - unpause
click - toggle pause
spacebar - toggle pause
+ : increase speed
- : decrease speed
-------
I don't know about you but I really love watching this kind of text, get all soft focus, peripheral vision about it, it's just really relaxing. It's true random, too, none of that Math.random stuff, it uses crypto.getRandomValues.
Hope you can enjoy! :) ;p xx ;p
