The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Any recent Lenovo laptop/convertible with arm64 CPU and capable of running a GNU/Linux distro?
I maintain https://github.com/steev/linux/tree/linux-5.16.y which does include the battery (and a lot of testing patches for upstreaming. There are other branches as well, of course, though I tend to follow mostly the top of stable.

ARM laptop to run Arch linux
Fwiw, I maintain a kernel tree with all the patches needed for the c630, https://github.com/steev/linux - the current tree that I would suggest is the linux-5.12.y

X13s (ARM64) Linux (un)success story
Here is my success (but with a twist) story with Linux on ARM laptop Thinkpad X13s. So, I'd got a bit boring with that fact that almost any modern laptop works out-of-a-box without any major problems (okay, fingerprint scanner sometimes does not work, but who cares?), so I decided to make it harder for myself. I bought ARM-powered laptop Thinkpad X13s, swapped out SSD with Windows 11 to brand new 1T SSD and started experimenting. After a day of unsuccessful joys with Debian, I finally just installed Arch mainly using this: https://github.com/ironrobin/archiso-x13s I also had to slightly modify kernel config to get 5G mobile broadband working and install some tools from AUR to enable power management features on this Quacomm SoC. What works: - It boots ☺ - Graphics - 3D/2D acceleration - Wi-Fi - Bluetooth - 5G mobile broadband - Audio - Power management (including suspend, brightness control and battery status) What does not: - Fingerprint scanner ☹ - Web camera (Linux does see /dev/video0 and /dev/video1, but mpv reports stream error) - Hardware video acceleration (it should be suppoted, but idk how to configure for now) Disappointments: - Battery life. Surfing with mobile broadband averages 9 hours. In specs we may see something about 24 hours+. In Windows 11, in another hand, we get only 5 (five) hours after installing all updates, reboot and 2 hours idle. But since this SoC only supported since 6.0+ and even still not in mainline, I hope that things will go better. Even with this neuances, this setup is ready for everyday use already now. Peace ☺
