Developing on Hive is especially easy, because much of the action on the chain happens by broadcasting JSON to the chain, so you can develop using JS, Python or whatever you want. I think this is a good starting point: https://developers.hive.io/ The only downside with Hive is that the NFTs and normal tokens are creating on a second layer chain called Hive-Engine. A good starting point for HE is https://github.com/harpagon210/sscjs Also on Hive joining one of the community Discord servers can help with starting out on the chain.
