Steps to repeat: 1. download nucleus coop and extract it with Engrampa Archive Manager to /home/myname/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/976730/pfx/drive_c/NucleusApp.zip 2. made ModManifest.txt to /home/myname/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/976730/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/MCC/Config with content C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730

If you bought MCC on steam you can already get split screen via Nucleus.

Download the Nucleus Co-op app. It allows you to run games in split-screen, even if there is no such functionality.

there's a couple ways, one is to run a virtual machine, another is some software to split up inputs, https://universalsplitscreen.github.io/ will do that. You have to run two instances of the game, maybe try running one in vulkan and the other in dx to avoid issues.

Lol I did a super basic google search and found this https://universalsplitscreen.github.io/ universal split screen which directs windows input so you can enable local multiplayer in windows. It took 30 seconds of googling. I really don't know why you must complicate things so, and be so incredibly angry for no reason.

For games that use host function co-op you can use programs like Universal Split Screen (https://universalsplitscreen.github.io/) or Nucleus Coop (https://nucleus-coop.github.io/) to play them in split screen.
