Tips on working with EKS
I faced almost these exact challenges when working on a project of mine. This is my solution (it's for GCP though), which deploys a GKE cluster along with Sealed Secrets, Argo CD, ingress-nginx, cert-manager and ExternalDNS.
What are some alternatives?
terraform-proxmox-k0s - A collection of modules for building and managing k0s kubernetes clusters on the Proxmox hypervisor.
terraform - The place to storing Terraform modules of many providers
home-cluster - k3s cluster using gitops (flux) and renovate automation
tfc-agent - Examples related to the Terraform Cloud Agent, a remote runner for Terraform Cloud Business and Terraform Enterprise
aws-minikube - Single node Kubernetes instance implemented using Terraform and kubeadm
amazon-eks-ami - Packer configuration for building a custom EKS AMI
ops-cli - Ops - cli wrapper for Terraform, Ansible, Helmfile and SSH for cloud automation
terraform-kubestack - Kubestack is a framework for Kubernetes platform engineering teams to define the entire cloud native stack in one Terraform code base and continuously evolve the platform safely through GitOps.
WolfPack - WolfPack combines the capabilities of Terraform and Packer to streamline the deployment of red team redirectors on a large scale.
cluster - Lab Cluster - Kubernetes (k3s) cluster managed by GitOps (Flux). Built on Proxmox using Terraform amd Ansible.
infra - My home or for-home infrastructure written as code defining GitOps principles for Kubernetes clusters.
gitops-terraform - This is where manifests and other resources related to demoing the Terraform Controller lives.
