Alternatives to akaunting
Other options I've found are Crater (Very similar to Akaunting). There hasn't been an update in a while, but the devs say they have a big one planned this month.

Self-hosted accounting software with SSO and/or LDAP support.
Crater looks like the closest one to Akaunting, but it still doesn't support SSO either. So the Projects app I have from Akaunting gives Akaunting the edge here for now. (Also it looks like it's trying to get into "crypto accounting", which is a red flag.)

By the way, have you tried Crater? (https://craterapp.com) It is perfect for billing & recording payments. Based on newer technology stack and very good UI. Lot less bugs than Invoice Ninja.
