Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Excontainers - Throwaway containers for your tests
Another example: in the site_encrypt library some tests require an external container to be started. I currently solved this by printing the docker run statement if the container is not started, and otherwise including docker run in the CI yaml file, but this feels somewhat clumsy.

I created/maintained a popular project for years[^1], and recently passed ownership to someone else. It's been great seeing issues resolve, PRs merge, etc, after languishing for a while :)
