  • compile time memory management models

I'm trying to implement compile time memory management in my language siko. My idea is to completely hide it from the user, they can only use immutable values and the compiler is trying to figure out a way to optimize it in the background. The design/implementation is good enough to self host the language and now the compiler is written in siko. This also serves as a giant test suite:)

  • Ask HN: Parrot language copycat my Gravity source code. What can I do?
    2 projects | news.ycombinator.com | 27 Oct 2021
I found out that the Parrot programming language (https://github.com/parrot-language/parrot) did copycat line by line my Gravity programming language (https://github.com/marcobambini/gravity).

I know that I used a very permissive license and that the project can be forked and modified by anyone but this is a theft more than a fork.

What can I do in this situation?

What are some alternatives?
