pkgsrc-2022Q1 is out.
Same with IRIX. The IRIX Network guys, after much struggling with pkgsrc, preferred to port rpm to IRIX 6 rather than fixing the bootstrap with MIPSPro, unfortunately.

SGUG has a nice Discord chat, and we're porting current FOSS to IRIX.

SDL2 and Diablo ready for IRIX... SGUG RSE Updates
So if you would like to use some of these packages, and you have a SGI connected to the net and running 6.5.22 or .30 then consider downloading the current 007 release of RSE here: https://github.com/sgidevnet/sgug-rse Its just a tarball to un-tar and then you have RPM and RSE ready to use for the good stuff.
SGUG RSE is a huge resource for the IRIX community and you should consider installing it and taking advantage of the ports popping up. https://github.com/sgidevnet/sgug-rse

You will not be forgotten ๐
Meanwhile IRIX still has a somewhat active developer community and has recently added proper support for RPM package management.
