sent VS mdp

See also: <https://tools.suckless.org/sent/>, which is similar but has an emphasis in minimalism and the Takakashi method (<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takahashi_method>)

Google Docs. If I need PowerPoint I mostly just use sent.

If you prefer something more adventurous (as in "create your own export wrapper"), you can check out sent.

I like sent. You write in a text file, each paragraph being one slide. Idk how it handles gift but it supports images. It's very simple and limited in features, but if it fits your needs then it's as simple as it gets.

This is why I love tools like Sent.

It depends on what you are presenting. I found [mdp](https://github.com/visit1985/mdp) to be very useful when presenting a tech talk. It is easy to copy and paste from the source material, it can be done all via the terminal, and it views well as a README on github.

It is absolutely possible. I use pandoc to convert markdown to powerpoint decks, it's a great workflow as you can preview and tweak the content and then apply the firm theme before the presentation.

If all you need is text on your slides, then mdp could be fun! I used it during an interview a while back.

Hmmm.. interesting. I used mdp a few times - perhaps I should give this one a whirl.
