Why am I getting a cannot load file error when using a gem?
Use the other gem: webhoseio rather than webhoseio-ruby and check the documentation for that gem. It's very similar, but slightly different, and it looks like it should work.

Why am I getting a cannot load file error when using a gem?
If you look at the installed gem in your system you will see that it is missing the lib/webhoseio.rb file. I think the issue is in this line of the gemspec: https://github.com/Webhose/webhoseio-ruby/blob/master/webhoseio.gemspec#L8
