I use sdorfehs, which is a fork of ratpoison.

No, sdorfehs has been around for a couple of years. It's a tiling wm descended from ratpoison & primarily uses prefixed/modal key bindings for most actions. It does not support mouse actions or floating windows and that's just the way I like it 👌
