How do I remove all traces of an app after I uninstall it?
SDMaid SE is actually pretty great at what it does. Unfortunately, Google locked down a lot of file permissions on Android a few years ago and the usability of the app really started to suck.

How do you formulate a reasonable appeal without knowing anymore details. I've been formulating an appeals text the whole day, but don't know what my argument should be. Saying "my app isn't Stalkerware" probably doesn't cut it. I fear this is my first and only step.
Some similar apps also got banned, but others didn't. I don't see a pattern yet.
If Google thinks a certain type of app is no longer welcome in the store, then that's their choice. But then they should communicate that instead of banning me without warning, and banning me for LIFE from selling my own apps...
Any advice? I feel so lost :(

Ask HN: How to optimally set up an Android Tablet?
For my money, less is more. Minimalist ROMs like LineageOS are a must-have, and when it's not available then I use Android Debloater[0]. Usually I bounce all the unnecessary Google/OEM services and install better alternatives like Newpipe for YouTube and Firefox instead of Chrome. Media apps will be a matter of opinion, but I'm perfectly content with VLC. I do syncing with Syncthing, which is perfect if you spend all your time on the same network.
Besides that though, I don't do a whole lot. The Android 12 UI colors are nice to play with, but I don't think there are any game-changing tips that will blow your mind. Maybe set up Termux so you can do programming on the side?
