Getting frustrated with the Common Lisp ecosystem, thinking of trying Scheme...but which one?
Shameless plug: I'm working on Schemepunk, a compatibility-focused alternate standard library for Scheme. It's an easy way to try a project in one Scheme, then move to another if you don't like it, without having to change much.

aws-sdk question
This looks like a bug in aws-sdk itself. I have tried to fix it: PR . I'm not sure it fixes the problem, but for me (without configured AWS) it sends a request successfully, signalling an error only when it tries to get a response, so I think it fixes it.
