Removeddit VS yt-dlc

Use removeddit.com's extension. It's extremely likely you've had comments hidden/censored that you're not even aware of dude... It's not just rightwing extremists, it's also just vanilla right wingers, libtards, progressives, anti corporates, etc etc.

I don't know if you've heard, but reddit is taking a number of controversial steps to prepare themselves for becoming a public corporation later this year. For instance, they recently announced they would charge for access to their API, which basically means most third party reddit programs like old.reddit.com, removeddit.com, or the Apollo app could get killed off.

Example: reddit.com becomes reveddit.com/ or ceddit.com/ or removeddit.com/

Be aware of http://removeddit.com/, bots that automatically store what you write, and parasitic followers and how to block and ban and report them.

Can anyone suggest me a good alternative to https://removeddit.com/ ? I'm curious about finding out how they justify or denies it in the comment, but the site is down... :(

What I would REALLY like to see, both for utility and to stick it to the man, is a website like removeddit.com that saves all the negative reviews Glassdoor and Indeed delete for their employer overlords.

Replace reddit.com in the URL with removeddit.com

I can't see the actual post other than the subject and removeddit.com is not workin or not picking up that post. Probably because it was deleted. I guess I could never prove I didn't post on an alt account or something...but not sure what that would accomplish.

the pushshift thing seems to be right. the github page for removeddit (and for reveddit too) clearly states it uses pushshift’s API, so i think you’re right about it being a bit slow to archive things

yt-dlc

Not who you responded to, but I use youtube-dlc. It's a command-line based utility with a ton of options for downloading YouTube videos.

The previous update was July 25, and the one before that was December 2020.

While the July update dealt with the updater, having 2 days of small changes since December is not very active.
