Safe to upgrade to the latest OS?
A few months back, I did the quick and dirty ddvk KOreader install and I’m curious to know if it’s safe to upgrade to the latest release of the remarkable OS.

epub Images squished/stretched
You might want to check out the “dirty” DDVK KOreader mod if you’re technically inclined. It’s light years better than what’s built in to the remarkable software.

Even if you have very limited experience tinkering with computers, you can install KOreader on the remarkable using this very helpful script. KOreader has every functionality the kindle does., and if you still need help, this community is very helpful.

Making Your OWN Custom Templates on RM2
I found a little helper tool here for those of us that aren't on windows. https://github.com/PeterGrace/templatectl technically it will work on every operating system since it's written in rust but unfortunately the author didn't release it for all OS. I had to install rust and build it, which is a bit tech heavy for most, but you if you can get rust setup + cargo just run:
